The Virginia Festival of the Book is an annual 5-day event in Charlottesville, Virginia. It’s primarily a reader event, but its panels offer many opportunities to ask questions of authors. In the past they’ve had programing for crime and romance fiction, as well as a publishing day geared toward helping writers.
Most events are free, with a few paid events such as a keynote speaker breakfast.
