- Aweber: The Write with Harte newsletter and other site email is managed through Aweber. Your name and email are added to the list when you register for Write with Harte. On occasion, Write with Harte has secondary email lists to send other information, such as members who want to participate in a challenge.
- Google Analytics – This service tracks website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the website. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics.
- Survey Monkey – this service is used to conduct reader surveys or collect feedback. Survey Monkey may capture your name and email address.
- Aweber– this service is used for the delivery of email updates and newsletters. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications. We also track opens and clicks to help us better understand what information you like so we can deliver more of it.
- PayPal/Stripe: Some Write with Harte products, services, and ad buys are paid through PayPal or Stripe, which sends name, email, and product/service information to Write with Harte. Bank and other payment options (i.e. credit card numbers) are NOT provided to Write with Harte.
- Shopify: Writer with Harte’s merchandise is processed through Shopify. Your name, email, shipping address and product order are sent to Printify for fulfillment. Bank and other payment options (i.e. credit card numbers) are NOT provided to Write with Harte.
- MyCred: This tracks your activity and rewards you points on Write with Harte. Points are used as entries into Write with Harte’s monthly giveaways. If you win a tangible giveaway (something that needs to be shipped), you’ll be asked to provide your address privately. Your address will not be stored in the Write with Harte system.
Personal Information
Write with Harte only collects the personal information you voluntarily provide, which may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, and general location. The information you provide is used to process transactions, send periodic emails, and improve the service Write with Harte provides.
Write with Harte does share your information with trusted third parties who assist in operating the Sites, conducting business, and servicing clients and visitors (e.g. Aweber newsletter service). Ordering Products and Services
Advertising and other products by Write with Harte Sites ordered from Write with Harte are handled by a third-party vendor PayPal or Stripe using secure servers. Write with Harte does NOT receive your payment information from PayPal or Stripe. Write with Harte receives notice of your order, your order number, your name, and email.
Ad Payments: Once you have made your ad payment, your ad information is submitted through a Write with Harte form. Any information provided in these forms is sent to Write with Harte and stored as a receipt as well as to post the ad as agreed. This information is NOT shared with any third party.
Product Purchases: Digital products (i.e. courses etc) purchased directly through Write with Harte Sites are delivered immediately to the email provided in your order form. Write with Harte receives notice of the purchase. In some cases, your email may be added to an email list to continue to deliver your order or updates. You can always unsubscribe from this email using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting jenna @ jennaharte.com.
For merchandise purchased directly through Write with Harte Sites, almost all orders are shipped within 2-7 business days from the order submission date. That being said, it is important to note that the exact fulfillment timeframe can differ from order to order.
Shipping and tax (if any) is calculated at checkout. For U.S. orders, shipping is free. International rates vary depending on the country.
Returns/Exchanges: Write with Harte does not accept returns of digital products. For merchandise, if you are not happy with the purchase, you can return it with its original packaging within 30 days from the date of purchase, for a full refund, minus shipping costs. Note that the item can not be deteriorated or show signs of use. If you receive a defective item, you can exchange it. Any returns or exchanges need to have your name and order information to be processed.
Product Purchases through a Third-Party: Products bought through Amazon or another third-party retail site have their own policies in regard to privacy and returns. Write with Harte is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third parties. Note that these third-party vendors do not provide Write with Harte with your payment information. Feedback Forms
On occasion, Write with Harte asks for information from its visitors to help make changes or improvements to the site.
